A range of training options for those who feel called to a ministry among under twelve’s and their families. One, two and three year courses are available, leading to Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma awards.The programme lays a Biblical and theoretical foundation for children’s work, giving a high priority to learning through experience. Students are placed in churches in the Birmingham area to work 16 hours per week alongside an experienced children's worker.  They have lectures for 1 day per week plus time for personal study. They also have the opportunity to assist on camps and other national events.

  • Child development and special needs 
  • Church based children’s work 
  • Primary Schools, Holiday clubs and missions 
  • Camps and holidays, Training events Conferences

Practical Skills include:-

  • Interactive worship 
  • Story telling 
  • Using your voice 
  • Making disciples 
  • Choreography and dance 
  • Drama 
  • Leading a child to Christ 
  • Discipline 
  • Prayer 
  • Puppetry 
  • Crafts

The course also has an emphasis on developing your own spiritual walk with God. Time is also given to each student to help him or her plan beyond the course during the year. …And lots more.
